Be alert and careful when you are approached by other individuals who ask for your personal information. Even when they claim they want to help or assist you.

When you have to make a copy of your passport or identity card, make sure to make your BSN (citizen service number) illegible. Clearly state on the copy that it is a copy and which authority is requesting the copy.
