Types of traffic controllers

There are different types of traffic controllers:

1. Professional traffic controllers (for temporary traffic measures, from the age of 18).

2. Transport escorts (for guiding long, high, and wide transports, from 24 years).

3. Event traffic controllers (from 16 years).

4. Traffic sergeants (crossing assistance, from 10 years).

There are different powers, requirements, and forms of appointment for each deployment. Professional traffic controllers and transport supervisors work independently.

The traffic controllers at events work under the supervision of the police.

Traffic police officers regulate traffic at a fixed location, such as at a school.
